electrical/ door push pins

Question about electrical push pins near the door striker not the door hinges on a 70 grand coupe,what are they called and what's there purpose?I need to find some because the ones I have been cut! :pullinghair: THANKS :

Not sure? I thought the ones up front were for the door ajar and dome light?these ones by the door striker have a lone plastic pin that goes through the pin itself.THANKS ROB

Maybe some sort of Aftermarket Alarm sysytem?

they are for the door ajar light. not sure if they are found anywhere!

I believe they're only on overhead console cars...do you need pics?
Probably hard to find as they are different from the front ones.

thanks that makes sense that they are for the overhead console door ajar light and the front is for the buzzer.But one last thing that puzzles me is the seat belt light for the overhead console how it works when the seat belts are buckles?Thanks for your comments ROB

I have an overhead console in my Challenger, but it's not an SE.  I have the light package where there is a light that shines on the key for a few seconds.  I just wired the seat belt light to that one so it says on a few minutes, then goes out.

the factory set-up was for the light to stay on for about 30 seconds and then go off whether you buckled or not. No belt sensor involved.
Just a reminder instead of todays pain in the arse big brother buzzers that won't let you turn around in your driveway without buzzing away.
