i really doubt its going to hit me.  i live too far into the city, no brush to feed on.  but its still scarey.  im sitting in class right now and i can see flames on the mountains.  not cool

Ross, I hope it misses you! On a brighter note, since the Dolphins game got moved to Phoenix my older son loaded up his 3 boys and my youngest son Josh (11 years old and the biggest Dolphins fan you've ever seen) and went to Phoenix this morning. He just called and said they got seats on the 50 yard line! Boy, Josh is on cloud 9 right now!

thanks for all the concern.  the fire has been brought under control in my area.  apparently its still bad both north and south of me, but the fire that was close is now dying.  there isnt another within 100 miles of me now so everything should be ok.
