New Userid ???

Do the administrators ever delete a userid to free it up for use by someone else I have always used Madmax, but had to attach the 440 since Madmax was already used. I looked and that particular member registered back on June 1st of 2004, last activity was October 13th of 2005 and the person has never posted anything. Now that I have well over 1000 posts (1008 with this one) and hold the prestigious title of "Senior Member". What are the chances of getting that Userid.

They don't delete the old ID's. I'm not sure why, but apparently it doesn't take up any space on the server, so they don't bother. There are many that just register to look at pics, then bail out. You can use MEKrunner now that I have changed my name.

not an issue that has ever really been brought to our attention, least not mine.  i bet a good 2/3 of the user names taken have never posted once, and prolly a good 3/4 post either never post, or post once just to see pics, toss a quick classified, get a question answered, etc and then bail.  but deleting names hasnt been something that ive cared to do since it generally doesnt affect much.  we can probably get you a new one if the one you want has been dormant for quite some time.

Really They go above and beyond. You almost hate to ask them to after thinking about all that the already do for us.

I have been on sites that do delete you if you haven't been active for a certain amount of time.  I was deleted on one and had posted 8 times . . even went to one of my posts and saw it now said guest.     Wouldn't hurt my feeling if we deleted members if they haven't been active for more than 2 or 3 years and have one or less posts.

  But at the same time it probably would be best to send that individual an e-mail stating what and why this is being done. They may not care one way or the other, but at least they then can't say anything negitive about c-c-.c on some other site.

Seriously, sounds like a good idea though.  Sometimes a cool user ID gets taken and the person doesnt post.  Just the way it is.  This place is the best!
