Hmmm, interesting points all around. Lol on the giant Rallyes. What do you think of these wheels, but not so big?

Not bad.....I would go 17".  :2cents:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I think it looks great as it is. I wouldn't change a thing. The AAR stripe looks ok, but I really don't like the hood treatment.

The AAR stripes look great. The hood treatment looks good except for the lines coming from the scoops. Just black them out and leave off the lines.

As long as you want opinions I think the car looks great the way it is. Just my opinion but the AAR stripe and hood stuff cheepens the look of the car.  :2cents:

Here's some different wheels. I think the black torque thrusts look hot. I think I will go with the AAR stripe and blacked out inserts. I was thinking of getting front spoiler eyebrows too. I like all the different options CUdas came with. Anyone know where to get rear window slots?

Like you mean rear window louvers?

JC Whitney used to sell plastic ones several years ago for like $150 or so.  Did not look like the factory stuff.

I understand the factory ones are $$$$$$ but look way cool.

Help, I am thinking of hemi orange with a white hocky stripe, but as you mentioned, the front will look plain orange! A shaker in white would be good, but I have a buge hood that I like and dont want to spend that much money. What would my 72 look like with a white tail section and white hood inserts? Maybe a white wing? Is that too hard to play with? Thanks, George

I have seen the hood treatment (or something like it) and I still don't like it.  But that is just my opinion . . your car, do what you like!   :grinyes:

Im with 4C, I would get a shaker hood with a black bubble to set off the front end.  I know  :money: .  Just my opinion.

Nah, I actually like the look of the bulge hood more than the shaker.

I'm going with Hot Wheels 65. Kinda hard to find (try Discount Tire) but they look like a modern take on the old Magnum 500 wheels without the black between the spokes and just like the wheels on the Hot Wheels I grew up with.

As for the hood, if your set on painting it, try just the inside stripes and the vents.  That would give it accents similar to the the Challenger rally hood.

I would keep those wheels in the picture of your car. I have always loved those. Your car already looks restored in that picture.

It was a good 10-footer when that picture was taken.  I love 'em, too.  Unfortunately, the don't make them any longer and never did in sizes over 15".
