Well, if your going with the strobe stripe, you could do a similar strobe pattern down the middle of the hood. Similarly, a thin, tapered solid stripe that flares on the end with an engine call out would match the hockey stick stripe you currently have.

I think I've decided on the eyebrows and painted scoop inserts for now. I think that will bring the black forward enough. I'm also getting new wheels but haven't decided on the American Racing Track stars or the black Torque Thrust M's yet. I was set on the track stars until I saw how hot the black wheels looked on it.

If it was MY car, I'd start losing some of the black.

Get rid of the vinyl top and put on a front red rubber bumper.  I would even paint the grille red.

No way, I think the black looks hot. The whole car may be black in the future.

  I had a 73 Cuda' much like your own. Only it was super blue, or Petty Blue, whatever you want to call it. I agree with the majority on the strobe stripe's on the side. With the hood as it is, you really don't need the black stripe's with the power bulge hood. It speek's for itself. Pat
