Saw this on DC.COM and thought I'd post it here. Don't have the story on what it hit but . . .
Sad story for sure . . .

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw these photos. IMO it was a crash at very high speed but looks like Mopars are very well made.

I slowly scrolled down and saw the first pic and thought how bad could it possibly be.....
Very sad... that was a beautiful car.

the car is still repairable,, yes it would need clipped, but looks like it survived very well from the firewall back. Hanging a front unibody clip is not that difficult.
and if that car is a real R/T.. hmmmm gotta be worth considering.

I feal sorry for the person who owns the car. This is why I am so alert when I drive mine. The Challenger doesn't get driven very much anymore because of this example. The wife used the drive the T/A alot but in the past few years she will not drive it at all anymore. It's just a shame too. The RR we do drive a lot because it's a lot easier to find parts to repair. I already have a complete front clip for it off a parts car. Almost had to use it on a deer a couple of years ago.

Man that's gotta hurt.
For me that's to close to home. I own a 71 Superbee and I would die if that happened to me.
Does anyone know who it was? Maybe we can help him rebuild!!!!
I might be able to locate parts for him.
