Hi lunch,

The plastic bracket mounts onto a metal bracket attached to the dash frame.

Cheers, Ed.

Okay I see now, is that other barcket right next to it for your drivers side A/C vent?

Well done CudaDU. Anyone who will go out to the car, lay on their back and crawl up under their dash just to post a pic for someone deserves a hats off. Guess that's why they call it 'DownUnder'

Thanks from me also.
That little bracket was removed by my cars previous owner and it's been kicking around in one of my boxes. It's been one of those where does this thing go questions!  :clueless: Now I know!

That other bracket holds the duct pipe that goes to the drivers side A/C vent.

Thanks for the praise guys. It was an interesting photo to take - lying down on the floor (seat previously removed), I leaned the camera on the brake pedal and took the shot with the camera facing me. It came out pretty good. ;D
