That is what I put in. RN14YC. No good? What did I mess up? The reason I put those in is because when I went to the parts store, a 1971 383 wasnt listed in the Champion book. So we agreed to go with the 1970, figured it was the same thing. The book called for RN14YC, he even showed it to me to double-check.
the plugs are a piece of cake...if you go under the car for some of 'em!It makes it so much easier. and how tough is it to get the floor jack and a couple of stands out?
On the side of the road or on loose gravel?I would rather always do it from the top. To make things easier I bought a cheap plug wrench and shortened it. Makes life very easy with headers but I have not tried it on standard exhaust manifolds.
I'm not sure why you'd tune your car on the side of the road (dangerous) or in gravel On this side of the pond there's generally some flat concrete available
