I don't think that beast could ever be mellow! Kind of cool though, that is great track times. A 440 that can run with Olds Cools Hemi is a great car. Love it. I like anything from /6 stockers to wild tubbed monsters like yours, good to see variety. I'm guessing it's an Auto? What kind of hp/T is it putting out? I'm going to take a stab and guess around the 675-690hp mark. .
Those times were with the blower before I owned it. It ran 10.50 with slicks as it sits now, also before I owned it. The HP is supposed to be about 500 (no huffer) at the wheels? Torque? Someday we'll strap er down and see what she's got.
I haven't run it myself, legally.
Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires are pretty hard compound, not the killer drag tire. I don't own slicks yet. I will though.
Trans is a 727, reverse manual valvebody.
Back halved w/ladderbars and coilovers, the launch is what get's it done.
