456 gears at 50 mph and 3200 rpm netted 10 mpg.
Exactly 50 miles on exactly 5 gallons.
I call it SMILES PER GALLON! :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

The 'F 'N motor is a 440 (hockey stick gives that away from a side view).
Overly worked 906 heads, 588 lift solid lifter cam #? with 9:1 compression (pump gas is in my budget!). Had a blower with a different  cam before I got it and it was runnin LOW 9s draggin the rear bumper, like 9.26 etched in the original lexan windows from shoe polish.
It's a bit mellower now, sort of. :burnout: :burnout:

I don't think that beast could ever be mellow! Kind of cool though, that is great track times. A 440 that can run with Olds Cools Hemi is a great car. Love it. I like anything from /6 stockers to wild tubbed monsters like yours, good to see variety. I'm guessing it's an Auto? What kind of hp/T is it putting out? I'm going to take a stab and guess around the 675-690hp mark. ;D

I guessed at 10, but really dont know. Seems I'm always filling it back up after a cruise. (massive fuel tank capacity). On the other hand if it was a concern, I'd drive the wife's Prizm.  :burnout:  :nono:  :smilielol:

Those times were with the blower before I owned it. It ran 10.50 with slicks as it sits now, also before I owned it. The HP is supposed to be about 500 (no huffer) at the wheels? Torque? Someday we'll strap er down and see what she's got.
I haven't run it myself, legally. :naughty: :grinyes:  Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires are pretty hard compound, not the killer drag tire. I don't own slicks yet. I will though.
Trans is a 727, reverse manual valvebody.
Back halved w/ladderbars and coilovers, the launch is what get's it done.
Thanks for askin!

Blofish gets about 5 gallons to the mile.  She is putting out 500hp at idle.  Of course when you have a car like Blofish or Old's Cool -The Beast that would be the last thing on your mind.  Pink Ice got about 12mpg.  She had the 426 crate Hemi.  Our Viper gets about 20mpg if we keep our foot out of it.

Whenever I'm driving my Challenger and I see these little prius's with their special little gold stickers that allow them to drive solo in the carpool lane I think....
I bet that car would run off of the excess fumes my car emits!  :thinkerg:
Then I punch it :burnout:

About 8 - 9 mpg with a 440 sixpack, 3.55 gears, and a heavy leadfoot :burnout:
