I don't know if it necessarily has to be a 'Cuda because it has a 340 (If I understand correctly). It looks like it says "Barracuda" on the tail panel. Check the VIN to see if it is a BH or BS car.
I'm not sure about that year for Barracudaas, but in '72 on a base Challenger, you could order it with a 340 and it would NOT be a Rallye version. It would come with a 340, 727, dual chrome tipped exhaust, rear valance with cutouts, and rallye hood. It would come with silver grill and tail panel (Instead of the flat black Rallye version.), "JH" desgination (base) instead of "JS" designation (Rallye).
