« on: April 24, 2007 - 03:10:01 AM »
I'm watching the 70's movie Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry right now and they just wrecked the front end of the 69 Limelight Green Charger. Oh the humanity.....I don't know if I can finish the movie. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa :crying: :crying: :crying:

OH MY GOSH....What a horrible ending!!!! And then the credits just roll immediately. I have seen that footage somewhere before and I can't place where. Aweful, aweful, aweful  :hyper:.....poor ol Charger. I like the paint scheme. Maybe I'll do one up like that.

It was used in the opening credits of "The Fall Guy."

The ending really catches you off guard.  :(

I really liked the big slotted mags on the car.  There's a '69 for sale locally that has those mags.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I love that movie! I do hate most of the endings where mopar cars are the featured ride though. Rolled 'Cuda in Phantasm, shot up Challenger in Terminal Velocity, crushed Challenger in Gone in 60 Seconds, Demolished Charger in the movie were talking about. Crashed Charger in Bullitt. Now we have a Tarantino film where another Challenger gets bashed. The only redeaming ending is Vanishing Point where they used a Camaro instead of the Challenger lol.

That's it!! Thanks HK. It was right on the tip of my memory. I knew I had seen it repeatedly and I watched every episode of that show. I actually got to kiss Heather Thomas at World of Wheels. I went up to meet her, boldly asked, and she gave me a peck. Mmmmm, H-e-a-t-h-e-r-T-h-o-m-a-s........
