1970 Dodge Challenger T/A (4 speed)
« on: April 26, 2007 - 03:52:29 PM »
1970 Dodge Challenger T/A (4 speed). I've owned it since 2003. Its been in the T/A registry since the mid to late 90's.

Last inspection when I bought it was 1980. I put it back to a driver status. It has a recently overhauled T/A engine. Other than that it needs a resto.

It does have a current inspection and I do drive it occasionally. The drivetrain is not numbers matching. But it does have a T/A engine. Body has very little rust. The paint looks good in pictures but it really needs a new paint job.

I would rather sell the car to someone that can come and look at it. I'm located in Wilmington Delaware. Only contemplating selling due to kids in College. So I'm in no hurry.

Email Sunocchio@comcast.net

Price is $35,000.

So, keep it! :grinyes: :woo: Obviously you've thought about it long and hard but just make sure you know what you are really doing. Hard to replace these days. Are you trading up for another Mopar or just needing some spare play money? Like everyone should, make sure it goes to a good home and a genuine nice guy.

I would love to buy that car, but being a T/A I would keep it if at all possible. Maybe have the kids join the Military Reserves to pay for school   :naughty:

As soon as I sell my 57 Chevy, I'll be calling you to see if it's still available, and if you're ready to sell.

Tell the kids to take out a loan for school.  You should not have to pay for their education.  They should earn it.  Sorry to sound harsh, guess thats just the way I was raised.

Keep it!

My favorite Mopar and the color I want too! Wish I was loaded as I would love to own it. My wife says I have to much trouble parting with my cars as I get very attached and have a hard time selling. I'll start working on her but I'll bet she would never let me own 3 E-body cars.

If you have good kids, ( I would expect that you do), then paying for their college is stand up thing for a guy to do. It's also a great investment in your kids future.  Your kids will have a much better start to life without being saddled with college debt.  Your money, your rules too.  Mine was paid for and I will most definately pay for my kids.  I'm 29 and I have buddies who are still a long way from paying back their stundent loans and it's an added stress to their lives.  These friends are getting married, having kids, buying homes and cars, and trying to find their careers.  That's stress and pressure enough.
