    Hey guys I'm new to this site and just wanted introduce myself. My name is Julian and I've been working on restoring a 72 Cuda 318 for the past couple months. I've currently removed the interior, pulled the trunk, and the drivers side rear floorboard. The rest is pretty solid with just minor surface rust. I'll be sure to keep you updated throughout the project and hopefully get some pics soon. This forum has been a big help so far and I hope to help others with my experiences.

    Welcome Julian from a fellow Washingtonian!

    You'll need to show us more pics of your 'Cuda.  I.e. progress pics.

    Also, let us know your plans for it.  Stock?  Resto-mod?  Engine transplant?  etc.

    Hi Julian,
    Welcome to cc.come. As you've already found out this is an AWESOME site!! So keep us posted on the project!! It looks nice. You can get a lot of performance from a 318 if you decide to stick with that. I had a 73 Barracuda with a 318 that I managed to get to run in the 13's with a 318, stock lower end, converted to a torqueflite 727, stock rear end, hedders, some head work and a decent 4 bbl!!

    I plan to do a total restoration keeping it stock for the most part. I'd like to paint the body a glossy black and the grill and tail panel either flat black or silver (original color of the grill), I really like the black Cuda's with all the chrome trim. The dual hood scoops on my cuda are currently chrome and I don't think I've seen that before, but I like the look so I'll probably leave them that way. I'll try to post more pics when I get them.
