Best Wax/Polish ???

What are some of the car care products that you all use.

After buffing a car I put on Liquid Glass. It the best I found to get rid of the little swirls from final buffing. I am curious if anybody found anything that works better, I would love to try it.

I own a bodyshop and Liquid Glass is the best.  I have paid over $100 to use Zymol and it does not work as good in my opinion.  Stay away from Meguires.  Liquid Glass can be applied in the sun, up to a point. Meguires will eat into the paint in the sun.

I used to put Liquid Glass on my Corvette and you are right the paint looked like it had depth to it. Although, I haven't been able to find Liquid Glass anymore. They stopped carrying it at my local auto store and I was told that they quit making it - Wow.

Liquid Glass is good stuff, my friend that painted some of my race cars over the years painted that Corvette on the can. That's the owners car..

I agree with Liquid Glass,too. I use some of Wizard Wax products sometimes.

Turtle wax platinum carnuba wax.  Can't put it on in direct sunlight like other waxes but doesn't leave any white powder when you wipe it off.  Or if waxing in the sun is your thing, turtle wax Ice synthetic works good if you don't have a black car...leaves little spots of residue on black cars unless you rub REALLY REALLY hard.

Love the turtle wax products, but I think that the cloth you use to remove the wax is most crucial.

I use a very tight nit cleaning cloth that you can buy at wallmart. 

It is similar to the material that makes up the california dusters, but is a rag instead.  It's spreads wax evenly and does not leave swirls. 

I like to use a clay bar and spray wax to pull the dirt out of the paint.  I then use spray wax to maintain it. 

I have had several people ask me what I use so I must do alright with it.

And for what it's worth, don't waste your money on them there orbital polishers that all the Walmarts and Carquests sell. Just my opinion but if you put any kind of pressure on it the things stops 'orbiting'. I just use an old pair of cotton undies that are sitting around for removing the wax.

UV protectant, super glossy, long lasting. The only pain will be the first long application. Subsequent applications are apparently fairly quick and only make the car glossier and glossier (unlike wax).

Just my 2 pennies here, but I tried the Zaino on my Chally. You have to strip off all other wax first, meaning wash with dishwashing soap. I wasn't any more impressed with it, than I was with Meguier's NXT. I threw it away.
