    I've been offered an AC firewall and cowl for my Challenger, BUT it is from a Charger!  The seller seems to think they are the same.  What do you experienced gurus out there think?  Will they interchange?  TIA :bananasmi

    I agree.  Are you trying to change to A/C or is your cowl rusted and needing replaced?

    The area around the windshield wiper motor is comepletely different too.  Everything on those cars are similar but different

    I have AC but the cowl and the top of the firewall need replacing.  The bottom of the firewall from the seam down appear to be ok.

    That is a common rust area.  You will need and Ebody upper cowl to fix it.

    Hey Lunchbox post some pic's of your cowl and firewall,I am curious of how bad it is.I am gonna rebuild the one in my 71 and will post some pic's of that mess later today.The Clown

    Mine isn't two bad at all, it just looks way worse then it is. Any bad spots are where the cowl and the firewall come together. The few spots that are bad shouldn't be to hard to fix.

    That ain't that bad,and it's an easy patch to do.I thought you had a mess like this one,and just keep in mind that the inner cowl is not seen once the apron goes on.Just do a real nice patch,and then seal it off.

    The cowl side on the bottom was worse then the inner cowl. I am working on it now and will get some pics up in the next couple weeks when everything slows down a bit.

    What did any of you guy's do when it was rotted around the air box air inlet?and the collar?I have been working on repairing mine,heres a couple of pic's.The black one is the one I made,not quite finished.Oh ya a friend is letting me borrow this tool,takes some practice but I am gonna try and make some of the rounded area's with it.The Clown
