Happy me, happy wife, - car is home..

The loooong time waithing is over..

Went to Copenhagen / Denmark yesterday, to pick up our Challenger vert. - shipped out of Houston TX 2 month ago..

Drove it home, abouth 70 miles, just small problems..

A little carb. problem,  if I step a little to hard on the brake, engine stops, and is hard to get runnin again, smells gas..???    And it use a lot of fuel...  abouth 7 miles pr. gallon...???

Turn signal went about 6500 flashes a second, now it's constant ligth.. -when activated..???

But - the dream came true, very nice car, no big disapointments....... :clapping:

Happy wife..(Pic.)

Very nice mate. Definitely a stand out car in the US and even more in your home country.
The little problems you're having can be expected when buying a car.

Just a guess but it sounds like your carb maybe related to the float level, too low. Stepping on the brakes is resulting in the fuel flow being nonexistent and stalling the engine is the result. If I had the car first thing after a thorough inspection would be a good carb tune up and adjustment. Not sure on the engine but with those mpg figures something definitely isn't right, unless you're packing a 528ci Hemi....... :naughty: The turn signal could be a touchy wire somewhere.

You'll get them sorted out and when you do, no worries.
You'll be as cool as this guy --------> :bigshades:

Cowboy, The car looks great and it appears as if the wife has taken it over. Why do you guys have to come over and take the nice ones. Always my dream to have a vert - Although, I don't know how it is over there, but I stay away from what I refer to as "Write me a ticket Red".

Congratulations on a very sweet looking ride - I know you're going to have lots of fun with it ( and maybe a few speeding tickets as a kind of bonus  :dogpile:).

Congrats Cowboy!  The car looks very nice.  As for your problems, another potential problem could be (if it's an automatic) that the stall speed isn't right for the engine combination.  I had a similar problem with my '69 Charger that whenever I hit the brakes too hard when it was in gear, it'd snuff out the engine. (decently built 318 with a HUGE cam.)  As for your turn signal problem, it could be a bad turn signal relay switch or something wrong with the wiring like NZ440RT suggested.  Hopefully you'll be able to track down the causes of these problems and continue enjoying the car for the rest of the summer.
