Welcome and beautiful Challenger. What part of Maryland are you from? I grew up in Poolesville, halfway between Frederick and Gaithersburg.

Wow!
Thanks for all of the replies! I'll post some more pics after I resize them. It's also nice to know that there are some fellow Marylanders here. In most of the local shows, you don't see many Mopars. Maybe that's part of the mystique.  :)

Bearcuda - I live in Rockville and I know where Poolesville is. I pass by it on Rt. 28 whenever I go "up county".

71340RT - my Challenger is basically stock and has a 383 with a 4 speed (w/ factory pistol grip, of course). It also has factory disc brakes and frt and rear sway bars. When I post some more pics, you'll see.

Dayley - most of the hard work is already finished. Body, motor, most of the interior. Need to rebuild the front suspension some time and maybe replace the rear springs (sag a little).

4Cruzin - I intend to come to Carlisle this year. Do you have a tent there or do you meet somewhere else. let me know and I'll see if I can meet up with the group.

The site looks like fun and thanks for all of your kind words!

Welcome to the site!  Your '71 is very nice!!!  To answer your question, the site does have a tent set up each year that's usually found within the E-body section of the field.  One of the members made up a banner to put up on the tent, so it's usually pretty easy to find. (That or look for MEK's '70 Challenger in the unique body color with a sixpack hood.)
