Members going to Carlisle Via I-95
« on: April 30, 2007 - 06:27:47 PM »
We need to start a list of those that will be traveling up I-95 somewhere around noon on the 5th of July. Myself and Mek-Dangerfield will be traveling up about that time and maybe we can get a nice caravan of E-Bodys together. Will be one helluva sight.

If they live below us in Southern Md., Virginia, NC, etc. they will be coming up I-95 - Won't they ??? Thinking that we could meet them aroung the Baltimore Travel Plaza just beyond the Fort Mchenry Tunnel and then continue up I-95 to 695 to I-83.

I'd love to go, but the chances of me getting my car before the show are probably slim. Maybe next year the stars and planets will align and I can go.

I'm in NC and many members seem to be from around here. I bet we could build up quite a little caravan if enough people went.

If you can make it as far as Baltimore, my passenger seat will be empty and you would be welcome to cruise up with me.

I'd love to go even without a car, but I don't think I could justify it to my GF without one. Thanks for the offer though.

I was hoping to have a car by the time all the good shows came around this year, but it looks like I won't be ready for a while still.

   :iagree:

I got "Easy Pass" to avoid any toll trouble.  Just ask WSM about that.  :smilielol: He was following me last year on the way to Carlisle, and I zipped thru the EZ-Pass only lane, and he did the same... Only to have to pay the toll for driving the whole turnpike when he got off at Carlisle.     :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :smilielol:

He won't make that mistake again, I'm sure.  :grinyes:

Oh yeah, rub it in PUBLICALLY too. Hey I told the old nag my ticket blew out the window. She never even smiled. just said, "That will be $10.00 dollars please." BTW, that toll usually cost $1.00,  :roflsmiley: Hey, I was just following MEK, at least I stopped, but it didn't even offer me a ticket, what the hell was I supposed to do? Back up in a toll booth lane? Mikey thought is was funny, still does evidently.  :smilielol: I'm laughing, but that cost me two big strawberry smoothies!  :stomp:

Besides, how was I supposed to know a guy with MD plates had a PA turnpike pass  :dunno:  :clueless:

White Satin, I haven't known Mike very long and have never met him in person, but I know enough not to follow the guy. He probably did this on purpose and then was laughing (and still is) his arse off - What were you thinking my Man - Heres your sign.

Naw, my buddy Mike wouldn't do that.  He just got in that 440 Chally and took off, I was following in my lil 360 trying to keep up, and with two women talking their #&^%$@% off and didn't realize what lane I was in until it was too late. But yes he sure did laugh alot.  :roflsmiley:  :roflsmiley:   Me and MIke, we groovin baby, just suckin down some suds under the ole club tent.

Well I may as well get in on this too. I just got my room so lets have us a caravan up to Carlisle. And I think I have the caboose for this train.
