Hmmm, sucks...  I guess I'll try contacting the DMV in MD where I last tracked the car to and see what they can tell me, if anything.  If not, then I guess I just keep kickin' over stones.

I have the VIN - dunno if I should post it up online though, ya know?

Unfortunatley it's most likely been shredded. or could be rotting away in a field somewhere. They're are definetley more dead than alive, thats what makes them valuable!

:iagree: its a good point, but don't ever give up you never know when it will pop up in a paper or even  :ebay: When I was getting interested in my Dad's car, my uncle told me he saw it in the mid 80's and it was really beat up, probably even junked by now. After that I lost a interest for awhile, but later started looking again and thats when I found it.

Best of luck

I tried the Oregon DMV to get info on my Charger.  They wouldn't do it.
I'm all for trying to get previous owner info. but there's the other element that uses the info. for the wrong reasons.
Like what this loser tried to pull on me last Friday.  Who's to say this guy wasn't just trying to get my address for a future engagement.

Holy crap!  What an idiot. I can't believe the guy filed a complaint against the security company.  Did you ever find the trunk key or do you think he has it still?  I would change the trunk lock for sure, just incase!

I had a guy pull something like that with me years ago. I had just bought a new Jeep Wrangler. I don't know for sure, but I think the guy got my license plate from the parking lot, then called the police and told them that I had hit him. They provided him with my home phone number, address, and driver's license number.
