Lucy definately is sticking out like a sore thumb. Was the parking of other cars in front of her intended or did that just happen ???

I got their basically first, there were about 3 other cars parked over the other side.
I parked there because at the time, I thought no one else could park in front and I wanted easy access out.

I agree with MEK, I'm not big on shows hence the reason I've only taken Lucy too one. Sunny weekend day with a tank full of gas? I'd rather be driving with my arm out the window foot tapin to AC/DC than standing next to my car.

The local shows near me are usually one-sided towards Chevys with the typical Mustang turnout, but I found it hilarious when they had a burnout contest where there were plenty of cars that were brutal street machines, but the one who took the cake was a '70 Challenger R/T with a nicely modified 440.  The crowd's reaction when a pro street Chevelle that ran low 11's and was heavily modified lost to a car that ran a slightly slower in the 1320 was priceless! (I think the Challenger owner told me at another show he ran 11.30-11.40's, which is great considering how subtle the car looked.)  Our shows have gotten to be better, but it's still definitely a mostly Chevy crowd, but it's alright 'cause it gives me more time to talk with the owners of other MoPars about their cars and mine. :2thumbs:

Is this how the voting is normally done - A popularity vote where everyone is voting for their buddies ??? I ain't got no Buddies.

thats about it. I lost to a brand new chrysler 300C for the muscle car division. nothing more irritating.

There are 2-4 e-bodies floating around to the local shows, but I normally only see 1 as a regular.  All else you see are mustangs and chevelles. :roflsmiley:

A lot of the shows around here are heavily weighted towards Fords and Chevies, even if you're a fantastic-looking Mopar, you still won't get an award. Sad but true.

Its a shame and I guess thats why Us Mopar Guys/Gals are such a fantastic, fun loving, intelligent, unselfish, good looking group. I go to these shows to check out all of the cars I don't care what brand it is. I had 10 slots on my ballot sheet and 6 that I voted for were chevys, 3 Fords and 1 Willys. Loved the Cougar the best, haven't seen one that nice in ages.

Umm, by "good looking" I assume you mean my car and NOT me?  :dunno:

There are a lot of car shows that are run by clubs where no one gets a trophy unless you know someone. It is really irritating .

I am often the only mopar and very often the only E-Body. I love it. When kids see my Limelight paint and that cuda stance they point and their eyes get wide. Then you know which one is the best car in the lot. I can take my cuda to a classic show, a street rod show, or even a tuner show and everyone loves it.
