    Excellent thread! I don't know how come I have missed this when you first posted it. I have Master rebuild kit + TF2 kit waiting for my 727. I'll try to get on with it after I'll get the engine done.

    I have understood that you stock parts for 727? After reading this thread it seems that I need few new parts for the actual transmission to build it more "bulletproof" like billet servo & those 3.8 ratio arms for firmer 2-3 shift. Do you think that you could sell and ship the parts I'm needing to Finland via USPS?

    The 3.8 lever you can get from any Chrysler Dealer, part # 2125067.

    Thanks! Anything more I need? Probably yes, I just don't know it yet because I haven't had much investigation about the transmission rebuild yet. What do you recommend?

    It's going to be a street driver that will be pounded occassionally and harsh shifts are ok. I want to do it so that the transmission isn't the weakest link on the drivetrain. It will probably never see a slicks though so the maximum torque is limited to how normal street tires can grab on asphalt.

    Will normal pan do if I'm using a good transmission oil cooler? I already bought standard size chrome bling bling cover but I can always sell that off.

    You also need good quality intermediate band.  For example raybestos hi perf. Chrome pan is good looking but it has very slippery sealing surface. Tf2 kit seems to break the rear servo piston sometimes, so billet servo is a must.

    Finnish: Pistä myös laadukas etupanta, niitä saa esim wiikin pekalta huittisista 0445570396. Kromipohjassa se tiivistepinta tahtoo aina vuotaa, hio se vaikka jollain koneella karkeaksi niin se korkkitiiviste pitää paremmin.

    The stock Borg Warner band should be fine,they are a VERY good quality band. You can go to a Kevlar lined if you want to.

    If I recall right I ordered kevlar bands when I was looking for rebuild parts for my transmission couple of years ago. I will have to check through my parts though.

    I would go with a deep one. The chrome ones like to leak around the gasket area any way due to the chrome being so "slick".
