Didn't that car belong to someone on the board recently?  I was thinking that someone had a car similar for sale about three or four months back.  I was thinking at that time that the individual was asking too much.

Maybe all the rest of us just have our cars under valued? :dunno::

I will save you money if you shop with me! :roflsmiley:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

There are always people out there with more money than brains...what do you think changed this 'hobby' into a business?

They should have at least put the trunk mounted battery on the correct side - unless he used to balance the missus (hubba bubba wifey) :roflsmiley: Also note the numerous carb fires it has had and the wiring looks like an electrician's nightmare

Though it'd make a very nice $20,000 (tops) driver, there are so many corners cut in that restoration.  I personally like how the gauges are discolored & the lens is very hazy.  They didn't even put new woodgrain on the instrument panel and still expect a premium price. ::)

Street-Challenged 73,

Whats does a good e body roller go for these days?    :dunno:
What does a good running 440 6 pack drivetrain cost to build?    :dunno:

I agree with you the car falls short of it's asking, but I wonder how nice an e body you can build for $20,000 today?   :dunno:

How about posting the very best Challengers for sale for less then $20,000?  :ylsuper:

It would be interesting to see how many buyers there are still out there.   :money: :money:

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts since you are in the process of restoring a 73 " I think?".  I'm confident that you can and will build a nicer car then this.   Would you sell it to me when your done for $20,000?

It does seem a bit excessive. That guy actually has some nice cars from time to time but they always seem a bit over priced. For a comparison, I just sold this one for 45k even:

Yes we did get the embloms and front valance installed before it left. We also added a spoiler but still, I think it fetched a decent price. Anywho, just thought I'd toss my two cents in.

Thanks,
Shawn

You think this one is bad? Some guy on CUDAWORLD is asking $97k for a 71 340 and it doesn't even have the original motor!

Jesus.. It amazes me some times because I get calls from some of the most obscure people and they ask me to actually sell things like that "I need 100k for my 1969 four door six cylinder Impala"  :roflsmiley:

I've been watching that one for a while and as much as I like '74s that one seems to have every dumb eighties mod ever invented

A little on the pricey side   :smilielol:
