    Here’s where we start.
    Spent Sunday cleaning out all the debris and assessed the parts needed. Removed the console, seats, and carpet. Floor looks great with only a small cluster of rust on the driver’s floor. Removed the bumper hitch from the back and speaker from under the dash. Swapped out the driver side door handle for one that wasn’t broke. Also did a little picking around on the putty spots to see if there was any additional rust. Everything looks very good. I forgot to take some pics of the underside while it was on the lift.

    Looks to me like we made a great choice!  If you have the time and want to pull that dash, I'm going to come and pick it up sometime in the next 2 weeks.   :thumbsup:

    Is the console in good shape?  I have a few stashed away if any parts are needed.

    Looks like a good candidate for Goodmark quarters and fenders.

    Looks like a great buy, I paid about as my for my rustbucket clone ,I'd rather deal with dents than rust, looks really solid as far as rust goes, she's a keeper! Rich.

    Well, I for one was very nervous. There were 3 or 4 negative votes on buying the sale. For a while I was scared people would be mad at me for my description and ban me from the site. I really did worry.

    I did consider just buying it and fixing it at my shop to donate so no body got mad.
    I'm glad that the site is satisfied. I can rest my nerves again.

    I hope and am sure Don will be pleased with what has been done for him here. If the car was closer, I would jump right in and build the suspention, freshen the engine, and all the brake work. I do stay very busy.  But tomorrow is my last day coming off of 7-12 hr days for the last month. I am very tired and worn out.

    Wish I had time to drive down to Louisiana. My partner and I have 5 acres of ebodies and parts we never have time to do anything with. 

    I will look in my shop this weekend , at my Alabama home and see what I can send for the project.

    Glad everyone likes the car. I thought it would be a good builder....ALAN

    Ah, let the progress begin! :cheers:  It is extremely solid and worth every penny spent. :2thumbs: :grinyes: (Mine began as a $1,750 purchase just about four years ago and let's just say there was plenty of rust that needed to be repaired.)

    Fishn4Cuda, you're really making this happen and MoparAl, without you probing around for a suitable car there probably wouldn't have been a better one found for the same price.  Props to both of ya and Laura for settling all the financials! :clapping: :cheers: :thumbsup:
