are we doing the billboards on this one? i was just thinking that we could send a letter to pheonix graphics or something too. just a thought that all of these big companies could chip in for a good cause. I mean, he has been fighting so that they can continue to business.   :wavingflag:
Dons dad said he really likes the hockey. I have ordered the black hockey with 440, but where the "440" goes he thought "C-C.COM" and "CUDAGUY" underneath that. Anyone good with photochop to make something up?

I remember REV said that YearOne would donate something, have they been contacted again?
Talked to Rev and she has heard nothing from them. Anyone have any good contacts with them? What about legendary? We really need seat foams and covers.

Just my guess... But I think contacting any supplier at this point is fruitless. Our time-frame is too short, and the supplier would in some way need to be compensated. A bumper-sticker on the car, or something in their name. Just my thoughts.

Which brings up a good point. Is the presentation going to be in the c-c area or on the main stage? If the latter, I'll bet there'd be a lot of good publicity that would motivate suppliers.

Just another thought.........we have had one of the Guys who serves on the promotion staff of Chrysler Classics stop in here and post, sorry forget his site name. But he may be able to help us "source" some of the needed parts / supplies. Also he may help us present the Cuda to Don as part of the show. It dosesn't have to be the main grandstand, but just let it be known what is going on. Of course the public part can only come after the site does our own private presentation. I say private only because most of us do think of this site as a family and personally I think our group should first let him know that this car (sitting where ever) is his, bought and brought to Carlsile by cc-.c members just my personaly thoughts.

That might be a good idea.   :dunno:

I definitely see the point. My thought was that if we want to get vendors involved in donating product or services, making sure they get publicity is one of the best motivators. I'd like to say that they'll all pitch in because it's the right thing to do, but in my experience, not so much :dunno:

As far as Legendary goes, I have yet to hear anything back from any of their representatives. (I've sent two separate e-mails to them.  Perhaps a letter through snail mail may be a better approach?)  Within the letters, I did mention our intention to unveil the car to Don at the Chryslers At Carlisle show in PA as well as his entire situation serving in the Armed Forces, but apparently I didn't ice the cake well enough. :-\

I don't know if any thought has been given as to a timetable to present Don with the Cuda. But after like I suggested c-c.c does this around the tent then we can ask the event staff to make some kind of announcement on the PA system. "Hey folks, you all need to stop by the Cuda-Challenger club tent located in the E-body funfield (hopefully that is where our tent will be) and meet Don Moore (then give his rank and service unit) and see his project 73 Cuda made possible through private donations primariarly other club members......................  :blah:  :blah:  :blah:  :blah: " It could be the time too for the announcer to suggest that perhaps some venders such as Lengendary, Year One, etc. consider making some product donations to help Don finish the Cuda.   :dunno:   :feedback:

The only thing about that situation would be the suppliers backing out like they did with Pixieduster.   :dunno:
