Well, could be true.  I read about it this morning, could be the most expensive movie ever made.

I went to the midnight showing and simply put I was not impressed. I am a huge spiderman fan so that might be part of it. To me the movie was ruined with the gap filled story line and the lame attempt to make the movie funny. There was just too much going on and there were too many times where stuff wasn't explained well. I still recommend the movie....but only as a matinée showing.

I talked to a couple of people who went to see the movie last night and they all said it stunk.  I will probably see it when it comes out on DVD.

They played it here at our post theatre opening night and all this week. I saw it. It was good, but very long--about 2 1/2 hours. It did have too many plots going on with a few outlandish ones. Overall I liked it though and Ron Howard's daughter Bryce Dallas Howard ( the girl from The VIllage and Lady in the Water) was SMOKIN HOT as a bleach blonde. She made the whole movie worth it to me. :grinyes: Definitely still worth seeing in the theatre I think.

Wife was working, so I put my two kids (5 and 10) in the Challenger and we went to the drive-in and saw it. I thought it was okay, but a little slow, and I agree that there were too many sub-plots.

BTW, I think more people paid attention to the Challenger than the movie.

That's sooo cool. I've never been to a working drive-in and have always wanted to. I'd love to take the Cuda to one. I bet people were drooling over the Chally.

I enjoyed the movie. I try to just enjoy it for a purely entertainment perspective and not get too into trying to figure out the significance and if it is true to the original Marvel comics. All in all.....good entertainment. Good message too about forgiveness and redemption!! :2thumbs:
