if you put a aluminum intake on a 440. do you need to use gasket on the valley pan... i got a valley pan in a engine kit...and i was told that you cant use that valley pan with a aluminum intake? anybody know if it is true. do i just have to get gaskets for it?....thanks

the 'bathtub' style intahe gasket can be used w/ any manifold. Felpro #1215 has the heat crossover blocked

I agree the 1214 b block or 1215 valley pan works with any intake , I often use the paper side gasket between the pan & head just to make sure there is no oil leak from the lifter valley though
