1970 Numbers matching "V" code Cuda.
« on: May 04, 2007 - 06:35:46 PM »
Here you go guys:

http://mmbrokers.com/newcars/70VCodeRed/70Cuda.htm

I still gotta write out the description but I'll be posting it on eBay on Sunday night. For a quick sale I can let the car go at 85k. Feel free to call with any questions or concerns.

Thanks,
Shawn

Hahaha we actually picked up another model that I'll be using here shortly on some cars. I'll probably continue to use both of them but still, a bit of variety. Come on guys, give me some feedback! What do you think about the car over all? I've had you guys grind my teeth down to nothing on a concrete sidewalk, I can take anything so give it!  :feedback:

I've gotta say, I admire your ability to take criticism. Most people that have been criticized as much as you have here, wouldn't come back. And here you are asking for more. I think it's a very nice car. Seems to sit a little low in the front, and the engine color seems a little light. That's all I can find to complain about. Good luck with the sale. :2thumbs:

The only thing I would like to add is hood fit. Looks a little off. Otherwise you've done a very nice job on this one. :2thumbs:

I'd spend the $5 for the air cleaner decal and put on the hockey sticks. Looks a little plain.

Sorry Shawn, But using Red's/Rev's car as a benchmark, this car rates about a 7. I would pay the 65K for their car before even considering this one. Although, In my opinion this is the nicest car that you have presented here. Other than the few minor flaws already pointed out, that could be simply the angle or lighting, there is not a thing wrong with it.
The car could be presented a little better.

No worries, thats what its all about and I appreciate the feedback. We actually ran it through an auction here yesterday, a big classic car auction they have twice a year here and it got to the upper 70's. I also sold one this time last year for 93k that wasnt half as nice. Same exterior color but had black interior. Like a ten year old restore but I've also noticed that the V code cars have kinda softened up this past year. Anyone else agree?

I think all E bodies have sofened up a little bit in the past year. I think it's because there seems to be a lot more of them for sale these days. There's 41 70-74 Cudas/Barracudas on Ebay right now. It's all related to availability in my opinion.

All in all, that car looks very nice.  The suggestions mentioned so far would probably help present it a little better.  It really looks nice in red with a white interior.

I like the property as much as the car. Is that your farm? Really nice looking place and great car. I agree, the hood needs to be seated better and a hockey stripe would help. It's nice, but it doesn't have any FLASH.

I would much rather have 85 in this car then 150 for the hemi you were selling sometime back.

Actually on the black car we are looking to dump it quickly also. So if we can get around 100k then were gonna let it go. We got two real Hemi 70 cars that we are fixing to rotisserie and fully restore. All numbers matching cars.. so we need to move some things.

I think it is the nicest car you have posted on here.  Why not finish it.  The detailing it needs is worth the time.  Do the things that need done and you may get close to what you are asking.  It needs a lot of little things.  I would also stripe it.  It is a lot of red.
