Cometic Gaskets

Well do to Chyrco's Advice I am going with Cometic gaskets for My Indy MW 440 EZ Head Motor! $105.95 each  :faint: ahhhh what the heck....

well the alternative is chamgimg them approx once / year if you figure that is cheaper using regular gaskets

Ran mine all last year, then reused them again this year after a rebuild and still seem OK. And thats with a huffer beating them up. :2thumbs:

Cometic gaskets are expensive but how valuable is your time? I run 13.2 compression on my 340 and Cometic gaskets have solved my problems with blown head gaskets. Like mentioned good for at least a race season or more.  :thumbsup:

Just make sure the surface finish on the heads and block is correct.  It is much smoother than the stock finish.
