Quality car cover needed
« on: May 05, 2007 - 01:13:18 AM »
I will be storing my partly painted car over the summer at a friends house inside a 3800 sq. ft. shop. I also want to put a cover on it and I will need one anyway when the car is done so I am asking for personal experiences and recommendations as to which brand/type of car cover to get. Thanks,

Brett

I got the cheaper one from Year One, like 160 bucks or something.  No complaints.  It fits perfect.

Couldve probably found one cheaper, but I didnt have to waste time looking.  Someone else should chime in with a better idea than me.   :2thumbs:

Here's what I use. It's called a Stormweave. It is custom fit for your car. Light weight too.

I have a Covercraft, tan flannel. I think the part # is TF80 for the Cuda. You can buy them custom fit with or without mirrors bags. It's like a canvas on the outside and soft flannel on the body side. It is (no kidding) 27 years old. Had it on my '72 Cuda racer, and it just happen to fit my '74 Duster racer and now on my '73 Cuda street car.  That cover will probably out last me....

I've also got a California car cover, my wife gave it to me for a present. Fits great, soft material so nothing can get scratched up - I'm real happy with it.

I'm looking for a car cover with logo. Plymouth, Mopar or Cuda logo. Do they exist?

Anyone know where to buy such, or where one could have such custom made?
