Very strange ???

I have never seen this before. Has anyone ever seen an extra sleeve installed on an upper  control arm like this before?

It was installed on the bushing like shown in the second pic. And it was a real pain in the ...  :swear:

These were/are used in control arms that are slightly out of spec for the interference fit of the bushing. I'd check the fit of your new bushings against the other arms that didn't use the spacer to see if you need to reuse it. I think you can still get them at Napa.

I have seen a number of them , usually on the front bushing

They put them on some cars for stiffening so I read some where.
