I am going to have to remove mine, because there are a couple small bumps that I am assuming are rust and I don't ever want to have to go through this again.

Good points I guess.  Mine wont be driven in the rain, so I wont worry about it.  Try not to be driven in the rain anyways.   :lol:

The car looks very nice, Mrob!!!  I've always liked the body colored roofs, but I still think Plum Crazy cars look amazing with a white roof, white interior, and white longitudinal side stripe. (That's my plan for the '73.) :cheers:

Wow! I never expected this thread to stay active for so long. Thanks for all the complements.

Thought I would post some pics of the interior. I recovered the seats last year with Legendary covers (BTW - recommended). The dash pad has the typical crack down the middle by the speaker. I found an original, black dash pad with out any cracks and will install it over the winter. Will also install a new headliner eventually and some new carpets. Both are starting to look a little ratty. In one pic you can see the pistol grip shifter which still works pretty well after all these years.
