Erm, Hi... Jeff here, current store manager for Goodyear Tire & Rubber company in Camp Hill, PA.
Yea Eagle ST's are long gone, but might I suggest some tires that DON'T suck, like, Firestones? Lol - sorry I don't really like my job anymore.
Yes, Goodyear is phasing out the tires that people actually want, and replacing them with high-price, low-quality tires that cost an arm and a leg and need replaced every year. I've sold Eagle RS-A's for over $200 a piece - I barely got 30K miles out of my own set! Ridiculous...
Of course I realize these were factory tires, which is why I'd recommend Year One, Coker, or luck on the internet. I don't think they are available through any other company - at least not with the name "Goodyear" on the side.
As alternatives, I'd try BF Goodrich's, or Kelly Chargers (which can be purchased at most Goodyear locations, and are actually pretty affordable.)
As soon as I turn in my two-weeks notice, I'll tell you the rest about Goodyear...
Jeff
