My 340 Cui. 71 Challenger goes with a PH 43 straigth in..

Do I got the room for a HP 1, without this "90* angel it" kit...???

Depends on what pipes you haveas tube interference is hte biggest issue. If your 43 fits with a 4 inch gap off the end, then it would.

I think it's the torsion bar that could be to close..

Basically go with a Wix or a Napa premium(Gold) A few people on this forum (and other forums)have had bad experiences with Fram filters.

I'll say - I had a brand new Fram filter disintegrate in my freshly rebuilt 440 fall of 2005. Whole bunch of crap got blown through the engine.  :crying:Ended up pulling the engine and going  through the entire engine again making sure everything was OK. Now I use the K & N filter, it sure is a lot heavier-duty than the Fram.

#1 seems to be the Mobil 1 brand. Second are filters by Wix. I use cheap ones t break in cams and stuff, but Wix (CQ, Napa, etc) are what they end up with once the quickie firings are done.
