I am sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is always difficult. Keep the memories you had with him and reflect on them when things get tough. I often do this and it carries me through.

Sorry to hear this sad news friend. I can understand your confusion, pain, and even possible anger. My granfather was the source of my "being" as an individual and a human being, he was and is me. Truly when he died no one on earth mattered to me. Carry you memories and love for him deep within your heart, make him proud of you for the rest of your life. Memories are the mirrow of his life that you will always have. If your Gramma is still alive, be strong for her, but let me say too that tears are just a sign of inner love that come out at at times like this.

My condolences friend.  -  Jim

I'm sorry about your loss. I have now lost all my Grandparent's, along with my Father. No, it doesn't get easier with age either.  :grinno: As was mentioned, it's the memories that keep you going. I was only 5 when my first Grand parent pasted, and I still remember him. He would whip me up, and throw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He is who I definitely take after, because all of my other relatives are short.  :grinyes: hang in there.

Sorry to hear that.  My condolences go out to your family.  It's pretty tough losing family members or close friends.  My Grandmother passed away before Christmas this past year and made things pretty tough for my family.

Sorry to hear about your loss.  Your grandfather sounded just like mine, so I know how you feel, because mine passed a couple of years ago.  Just remember the good times, and don't forget all of the good advice he gave you.

Sorry, for your loss. My Dad passed away on my daughter's Birthday. It was a very sad day. But we told her Pappy did that cause he knew we would never forget her birthday and he wanted us to remember him.

Sound like he went fast which is a good thing. My dad died of a sudden massive heart attack out of no where. It was hard to accept but I remember our presit saying he was lucky because death can be very painful and drawn out.
Just remember that you will never get over it but you will get through it.
Sorry for your loss.
