I'm in the process of deciding what color combination to paint my 72 Cuda. By the way, is there a way to tell if its a real Cuda? THe door panels had the Cuda emblem and they looked original. The hood emblems were gone, and there was nothing on the tail piece either? The white and green engine sticker says it was a 340 car as does the vin, but the fender tag is really rusted up. I have not been able to look at it closely yet. THe rear seat was gone, so the broadcast sheet will not be there. It has both sway bars and the dual exhaust cutouts.
Did they ever produce a hemi orange with the white hocky stick stripe? Thats what I am leaning toward. I see you went the black, and that would work better for the tail panel, dont know if white would look OK there or not, guess it depends on if the bumper is painted or chrome? I also have the budge hood, and have not figured out how to get some contrasting white on it (to match the stripe etc). Last, the spoiler?
? None, or a white one or maybe just painted orange?
What are your thoughts on these ideas?
