Newburgh, NY - Car Show & Cruise
« on: May 10, 2007 - 09:12:10 AM »
I should have posted this sooner, but forgot.  :screwy:

There was a nice turn out this past Tuesday with a handful of nice Mopars. My friend Craig with his white Superbird went for the first time & snagged 1st place in people's choice.   :2thumbs:

Some of the Mopars that were there were:

1970 Superbird
1970 Challenger R/T
1968 Hemi Road Runner
1969 Hemi Road Runner
1969 Dart GT
1950's Willys Jeepster with a small block Mopar engine
1972 Fury
1980's Fury police car

Walking is good for you. It's documented that for every minute you exercise, you add a minute to your life. This enables you to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $5000 per month.

The pictures are still vivid in my mind.

I was hoping to at least make sure anyone who wants to make it to the next one would know that there is a decent turnout & some nice Mopars. I went to the cruise in a hurry & didn't think about the camera. I was more interested in seeing the final results of my friend's Superbird since I was the one behind the wheel when it went into the guide rail on the interstate.   :o

Here's at least 3 of the cars that are sometimes there. (Pix from another time & place.) Brian's 69 Charger with a 440 & a 6 pack, George with a 68 Hemi Road Runner, & Craig with his Superbird, a 440 4-V & 4 speed.
