I need to go check the garage to see if my hemi is still there!  :clueless:

Sorry Don, that was the best angle and meanest looking picture I could use to give myself some kind of idea.

Carl, thought about you as I watched Phantasm.

I just purchased Phantasm I,II,III,IV movies for my collection.
They're not available for rent thru netflix etc..

I've only watched I & II so far, 2 having many more of the hemi cuda scenes than 1.

I recommend them for your '71 Black hemi 'cuda viewing pleasure. Amazon has 'em.

Thanks ChevyConvert & Don. I have the "Orb" pack with 5 discs in it! So, I have the Phantasm movies. Not too bad, I guess for the time it was made and the styles of movies in that period the acting & corniness is to be expected. Wish they shot more of the car but, seeing 2-3 minutes of the whole car in 120mins is pretty much worth it.

interesting article..Thanks. I couldn't read the hood in the first movie.

In the second movie they made a point of pausing on a close-up of the "hemicuda" call-out on the hood.

I thought it was a 440 6pack.

I thought it was a 440 6pack.
not according to the hood call-out in the phantasm II flick.

Just watched P.III for the first time. In this movie the black 'cudas a convertible...no explanation given in the plot as to where / how the ice cream man came to own it.
Funny...the ice cream man doesn't work, never goes to a bank, but always has wads of cash to throw about.

I was thinking of the first movie. The article above says it had 440 sixpack call outs on the hood. Guess they changed it for every movie.
