    Most popular Challenger color.

    Thanks to some of the members on this site, I found out that the original color was B5 blue. Now, blue is isn't one of my favorite colors, and I like the high impact colors better, so help me make up my mind about which color to paint it. I only listed the ones I like the most, and I didn't include colors like black, white brown, etc. because I want something bright and outrageous. It's not going to be a show car, just a nice driver. No vinyl top, maybe some T/A style stripes.

    I'd also like peoples opinions on how much it affects the resale value if you don't paint it the original color (in case I ever have to sell it).

    I wouldn't give up on blue just yet. Have you seen B-7 blue? I know that you don't consider blue high-impact(like me), but there is a 71 Chally around here in B-7 that looks great with the black side stripes.

    Beleive it or not B5 blue was a high impact colour.

    Most popular seems to be plum crazy. From a resale and "wow" point of view, it seems to be at the top for a lot of people.

    An awesome color if you can pull it off is black.

    Personally, I prefer metallics over solids, dark over light. Most the high impact colors were solids.

    Purple seems to be the way to go for middle ground. It's wild enough to be somewhat flash but it's still fairly conservative as it's still very blue-ish.

    Purple is also my favorite color. Plum crazy AAR Cudas are what really got me hooked on Mopar muscle cars about 8 years ago.

    Lots of great colors but I really like hemi orange after getting my 70 Cuda and restoring it back to it's original color.

    I would think B5 would be an awesome color in anyones book! Good luck on whatever color you decide. I picked FE5 for 2 reasons, one because it is a beautiful retina scorching color and 2 it is correct for your car.

    however my challenger is yellow cuz it came dat way, but my first sale for the purple challenger fell thru

    For resale and popular choice for non Mopar buyers it would be Plum Crazy which IMO is overdone.
    Next would be Sublime then perhaps Hemi Orange. I voted for Sublime.

    Myself, I prefer my plain colours: White, Black, Silver, Grey, Winchester. :thumbsup:

    I personally like Plum Crazy the best.  I've had at least 4 Challengers in that color and no matter what, everybody liked them.

    Sublime Green. It does not get much more bright and outrageous. There'll be the value point$ inherent as well.

    What kind of car is it?

    R/T?  Rallye?  If so, I'd do B5 factory.  You can do a lot w/that color to make it "pop"!  Lots of pearl, clear, some tinting, and it would look awesome!

    If it's a 6 cyl. or 318 car, then paint it any way that YOU would like it.

    My Chally is actually FC7, but I'm sick of that color, so I'll prolly do something a bit more outrageous.  Like that Lamborghini orange. :scared:
