They were probably just searching for where the bid is.  I've had it done to me.

I would agree that they were just fishing for what the high bid or reserve was.

More than the last bid of $200,299.00. :grinyes: That guy who retracted the bid has 11 bid retractions in the last 6 months and at the time of his retraction he had 4 in 30 days. I'm going to contact both him and Ebay to voice my concern.

It'll prolly sell at Mecum or BJ, if you're willing to chance NO RESERVE auctions.  And then there's the 8% sellers commission they tack on. :eek7:
