I am currently selling my 1972 440 hp block. I purchased this off a friend last fall and he told me it was bored .030 over. The cylinder walls are very clean with the exception of one, it has a small spot on it but looks like it will come out with a hone. The casting on it is 3698830 440 7. It is dated, 5/12/72. I also have a set of heads that can go with it. They are cast 3462346. These will need to be rebuilt just because they look like they have been laying around a while. The block was magnufluxed but not the heads. The guy I purchased these off of restore Mopars and I have known him for 19 years. He wouldn't steer me wrong. I also have a set of tin ( oil pan, valve covers, and timing chain cover) if anyone is interested. I will separate everything or you can just buy all of this for $600.00.
