New guy from Southeastern PA
« on: May 15, 2007 - 09:03:03 PM »
I joined a while ago and figure I may as well start posting......Finally.
I have a 1973 Challenger that I purchased in 2002. The body and paint were complete. I've spent the last 5 years building a comfortable, dependable, cruiser while driving it almost every weekend during car season.  I average 5000 miles each season.  Last year my big trips included the Power Tour and Moparfest in Canada.  The car is always driven, never trailered.

The original 340 was yanked and replaced with a MP 500 Stroker crate engine with a six pack, new trans and Gear Vendors OD.  Front end was rebuilt, new sway bars added. A/C was converted to R134a. Shocks, springs and axles were also replaced.  The entire interior was replaced or restored.  Lots of Dynamat, Fatmat and insulated padding was installed everywhere.  I love driving the car and go to as many cruises or shows that I can.  Here are a few pix.

That's what I like to hear  :)  Beautiful car.

Yes it's Sassy Grass AKA Green Go.  The parking lot pic is with air shocks.  They are long gone. I'm now riding with ESOP 2" over springs.  Not as high as before. I went from too low to too high and settled in between.  The one in the park is how it sits now with 295/50-15's

Wow, That green really pops on that car - Love it. This is a 73 at its finest. Hard to beleive that it isn't a trailer queen. I take it that you will be meeting and spending time with us at Carlisle.
