« on: May 17, 2007 - 12:06:30 PM »
From where I can get "Kustom" AAR Cuda stripes?  I wanna use my own letters instead of AAR.

Thanks in advance. Pepe

Try Joe Hoth.  He made for me a set of Challenger T/A stripes that say R/T instead.  His e-mail is carcrz@peoplepc.com.

Thanks Mike, I'll send e-mail to Joe.

Some C-C member had got 440CUDA -stripes but I can't find that thread.
If I remember correct that car was B5 blue.

I've made several custom AAR/Mopar  stripes for people before I sold the business to Joe (and since then too - I create it, Joe cuts it).  What are you looking to do?  I can make the file and send it to Joe for you.

You can go to any reputable sign shop that installs lettering on business vehicles. This is what my wife does. They can hook you up with whatever you like.

Does anyone make computer cut reverse masking kits for stripes also so I could spray the stripes? Example: If I wanted to paint the R/T stripes on my 71 Challenger under the clear coat instead of the tape stripe kits?

Thanks, Wes

Contact Joe and ask him to make you a Paint Mask kit for a 71 Challenger RT stripe.  He can use his existing file and just cut a "negative" set from Paint Mask vinyl.  Should only cost a few bucks more than a regular set (paint mask material is more expensive plus you need to use more material to make a paint mask kit, hence the higher price).

Wow! I'd think there would be a big market for the "negative set from Paint Mask vinyl".
