Dougs headers on 340 Cuda
« on: May 17, 2007 - 01:25:57 PM »
Has anyone tried Dougs headers (D453) on a 340 Cuda with 727 torqueflite yet? I looked at their website and it looks like these headers require mods to the shift linkage for column shifted cars. But one of the footnotes says that they will not work with 727 transmissions (doesn't make sense). That's why I'm asking the question here. Anyone had any experience with these headers?

Nothing with Doug's, but I have Hooker's #5115 super comp's and they fit nice..Cuda 340 auto with or without power steering..

Also to let the list know - Doug's headers will not fit a BB in an E body with angle plug heads such as Indy EZ. They admitted this three days ago to me.

ANy header that goes under the center link on a small block is a waste of time IMO
the Raised port TTi headers fit virtually perfectly on the B & RB
