Just to say hi
« on: May 17, 2007 - 02:42:28 PM »
Hello everybody, been lurking and reading for some time now, and I just have to say that you people are the best I've seen as far as forums go. The WCC stands for Wilson Classic Car. We are trading a paint job on a 40 Ford for a 71 Barracuda  :woohoo:. It's only got the 318, but it is solid. I have one question, what's the difference between a Cuda and a Barracuda? I've seen a few people mention that there is a difference, I just don't know what it is! Once again, I have to say that this group of people are #1. I sure wish I could be at Carlisle!

Welcome.

The basic difference between a Cuda and Barracuda is the packaging. Cuda's are more in the performance mode, where Barracuda's would be small blocks with luxury in mind, or maybe just a plain Jane. The only exception would be the Grand Coupe(70-71). It tried to cover luxury and performance.

We got the car in today, it runs and drives great, just needs some body work.  :working: It's been parked on the lot for about 2 hours, and we've had 4 people ask about it already. I'll post some pics when we take some.
