    My fuel gauge never comes much above ½ way up.

    How much fuel will a Challenger contain...???

    I think the gas tank holds about 16 gallons??  Your tank float may be sticking.

    The correct answer is 18 gallons
    cowboy you probably need to remove & adjust the sending unit,,,possibly it has a poor ground.
