1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Don't know any stats on Petty drag racing. He crashed into the stand and killed a young boy. That's when he went back to Nascar.

That happened at Southeastern Dragway in Dallas Ga.  That strip was in operation until last year.  I have made many. many passes down that strip.  It is about 5-6 miles from my home.......
