Is this considered an average day or too much?
« on: May 19, 2007 - 10:09:28 PM »
My wife says I have to slow down since I'm getting old.

I'm not old!!!!!!!!!!51

tune up on our chevy v6 cap rotor , trans mount, fuel filter, and a/c charge
Put cuda on stands and pull 4 speed
Mowe 1.5 acres of grass
fix her computer
clean shop.

Isn't that just an average days work for a saturday?

I asked her if she had any idea what it would cost to have to pay someone to do all this...she shut up.

Sounds pretty normal to me, except your fast!  I'd probably end up doing the tuneup with the chevy and then go get a Dr Pepper and relax :roflsmiley:

you are slacking
so far today I drove 2 hrs for parts ,swapped an intake gasket , assmbled front brakes , warmed the 440 & set valve lash , adjusted the shaker height with different spacers , took the Cuda for a drive tore the carb down & made jetting adjustments , installed a return spring system , Cleaned up all the tools in the gargae

That's more than me Al!!  :2thumbs: I might have mowed the lawn, cleaned the shop, found some long lost car parts, got distracted, ended up fooling with the car, maybe left in the Chally to charge the batry, lost all track of time and came home around 5:00pm. It an ADHD thing!! LOL  :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

Spent my Saturday helping do yard work at my 99 yr old Grandmothers farm house with my 72yr old Dad and his 58,59,70,75,78,80,80,82, yr old brothers, sisters & in laws, we worked for about 6hrs with a lunch break and the only one that slowed down was the eldest brother who was sick.
If the other half Grandma's kids had shown up it would have been a breeze.
