Is sb bypass hose long enough?
« on: May 20, 2007 - 06:58:32 PM »
Does anyone know if you can use a stock bypass hose on a sb Victor intake? The bypass nipple is a bit higher, because of the raised thermostat housing location and if I need something else, I could use a p/n or application.

Thanks,
drag-n

I don't have a stock intake but I have a small block Super Victor here. Would a picture help. I just had it powder coated and it's laying around. My wife made me take it off of the cofee table.

go-fish,
I should be able to bolt up the intake tomorrow to confirm.  Engine's at the machine shop and the intake is in the truck.  I was just trying to go prepared.  Other guys using the victor 340, plug the bypass and drill 3 or so small holes in the thermostat flange.  Just trying to get all options, so I can make the best decision for myself.

Thanks,
