I just realized there's a different part # for the 383 and 440 Mopar electronic ignition conversions. I have the 383 one in the car but my 440 is going in, do I need a whole new kit or can I change something on the one I have to make it work?  thanks

The distributors are different length. If you were going from 440 to 383 you could buy a spacer, but since you are going from 383 to 440 you will need to buy a new distributor.

That figures, I see Mopar Performance makes two different ones. a standard electronic and an adjustable performance one, if I'm going to have to get a new one anyway is the performance one any better for a street car?

You want to see mine?  I wish it were black. It would look much better in my engine bay.

The summit # is DCC-3690432 I'm not sure if that's the Mopar Performance part# or just summit's. $158,  it says it has a performance curve and an adjustable vac advance, should work.
